Christian Cubacub holds over 12 years of experience in digital media production, specializing in creating compelling documentary, promotional, corporate, and event-based photo and video content. He has worked on projects for various clients, delivering content that has garnered accolades for its creativity and impact. Mr. Cubacub also served as the Director of Digital Media for the publication Flyer News. He also directed efforts as Chief Media Officer for the real estate startup HouseHack.

Commercial Showcase: Island Videos

Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines needed a series of in-flight entertainment videos to highlight the unique sights, sounds, and activities of each Hawaiian island. With a focus on capturing the vibrant local culture and breathtaking landscapes, the series was designed to inspire visitors' excitement for their adventures ahead while evoking warm nostalgia for returning kamaʻāina. These montages celebrate the welcoming aloha spirit that defines both the islands and the Hawaiian Airlines experience. My role included serving as a drone operator and 3rd shooter, contributing to the visuals that bring these stories to life.

ETHOS: Applied Engineering

This film showcases the hands-on learning and applied engineering experiences of students during an international immersion program. Initially pitched as a single promotional video to the University of Dayton's School of Engineering, the footage was later expanded by the university’s marketing team into a three-part mini documentary series the following year.


National Engineering Conference

Each year, the National Conference of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) brings together professionals and students for a dynamic event featuring workshops, speaker sessions, and a career fair. The conference offers distinct Professional and Collegiate tracks, catering to attendees at different stages of their careers.

To promote future conference attendance and attract corporate sponsorships, we captured the energy and impact of the event through numerous video interviews and created compelling deliverables, including trailers and highlight films. These productions showcased the conference’s value, inspiring engagement from both participants and sponsors.

The Monster Energy Up & Up Festival hosts live music events nationwide and features headlining artists such as Alan Walker, GRYFFIN, Two Friends, Loud Luxury, and San Holo.

This is one of multiple highlights created to advertise and increase ticket sales for future shows.


Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour Photography & News Correspondent

Photo coverage at one of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking concert shows. The global tour brought in $2.2 billion across 149 shows in its nearly two-year run, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.


A Spectacle To Be Seen…

The University of Dayton Theatre Program wanted to create a behind-the-scenes video highlighting the creation of their original performance script, Spectacle, a musical adaptation of the story of William Joseph Chaminade.

Chaminade was a French Catholic priest who survived persecution during the French Revolution and later founded the Marianist religious congregation in 1817.


Theater and Dance

The University of Dayton Theater, Dance, and Performance Technology Department held multiple performances each year. Photos and videos of shows were used for university advertising and recruitment.

Social Influence Meets Business

Mr. Cubacub directed video production and marketing efforts as Chief Media Officer working for Financial Analyst, CEO, and Real Estate Expert Kevin Paffrath.

During his time working with the content team, the social media company’s videos amassed an incredible 164 million views across all platforms, with over 52 million views generated from content that Mr. Cubacub personally filmed and edited.

At the 2023 Tesla Shareholder Meeting, Mr. Cubacub collaborated with CEO Kevin Paffrath to devise a strategic plan to spark a viral global conversation and increase awareness of Mr. Paffrath’s social media presence and businesses. Together, they crafted a pivotal question for Elon Musk during the live-streamed event:

“Why doesn’t Tesla advertise its incredible features and benefits?”

This carefully orchestrated moment resonated with Tesla investors and generated significant media buzz that earned Mr. Paffrath and his businesses public praise and credibility. In the weeks following the event, Tesla’s stock price rose by over $107 per share, leading to a market cap increase of $345+ billion, stemming from the interaction between Musk and Paffrath.

At the annual Consumer Electronics show, Mr. Cubacub provided videography and editing work for the YouTube channel This is Tech Today at the Consumer Electronics Show 2025. The channel’s host, M. Brandon Lee, regularly covers technology and explores how it intersects with our daily lives.
